Kiss This started not from financial need, but as all great things in life-from passion. I am a student at Louisiana State University. My interest in makeup sprung from my childhood, lets just say I was not the prettiest girl in my 4th grade class. I had frizzy-curly hair & was unfortunately born a few years early before hair straighteners became a household item. In 6th grade I started to fall into my own & started to get the crazy frizzy curly hair under control, by blow-drying it straight. So then I noticed hmm, I am prettier than what I had initially thought, in what other ways can I enhance the way I already look so people can see how great of a person I am on the inside. So it began, the dabbling in makeup. By the time I was a senior in high school I had at least 30 makeup books written by the most famous Makeup Artists in the industry. My older sister started her career in film production, so I got my chance in early college to be close up and personal with some of these infamous makeup artist that were working on the movies that my sisters' production company was handling. Living so close to New Orleans it seemed meat to be! I learned inside tips & tricks that I had never read before in the books, I had always assumed that they kept the best secrets for themselves & not actually publish them in a book, & I was right! But my wide-eyed curiosity moved them in such a way that they made me one of their own!

    I feel that the way I came into makeup artistry is significant in how I conduct my business. A part from most makeup artists who get into makeup because they happen to be good at it and are in financial need,  I fell into makeup because of an internal longing. It wasn't just learning a trade for me, I have other avenues to secure my future financially, to me its the sense of pride I get when that person looks in the mirror at themselves when I'm done, when I look at them, and I just think wow. Its amazing to me the glow that comes from deep within that person, once they look in the mirror & they see how beautiful they actually are. For this reason is why I do what I do.
